Creative Portland

Creative Portland is a nonprofit organization that leverages, grows, and sustains Portland’s creative industries, enterprises, and workforce. As the City’s official local arts agency, they also pay particular attention to supporting the artists and cultural institutions that are central to Portland’s identity, economy, and community.

Friends of Lincoln Park

In 2013, the Friends of Lincoln Park was formed with the mission of restoring the park to its original condition, with the participation and support of the City of Portland. Over the last five years, they have obtained funding from several organizations and foundations which allowed them to contract with professional conservators and landscape architects to develop a comprehensive Master Plan for the revitalization of the park.

Furniture Friends

Furniture Friends is a nonprofit organization that provides donated furniture to people in need throughout Greater Portland. With ongoing support from the community, they are able to fulfill their mission of “Creating Homes. Rebuilding Lives.”

Good Theater

The goals for Good Theater are simple: Good Theater is dedicated to presenting quality theatrical productions that are entertaining, uplifting, and inspiring, using the best artists available.

Love Lab Studio

Love Lab Studio curates, supports + celebrates collective creativity, age 0 + up. Love Lab Studio helps make creativity happen with simple materials, strategies and tools that are good for you and the world.

Portland Trails

Portland Trails is a nonprofit urban land trust that has a goal to transform Greater Portland into a healthier community for people-powered transportation, conservation and recreation by creating and maintaining a network of trails and green spaces that connect people with places.

Quality Housing Coalition

QHC, through inclusive partnerships with the housing community, works to provide high quality supportive housing for individuals and children who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing houselessness. Brit is a founding member as well as serving as President of the Board.

Telling Room

At The Telling Room, they empower youth through writing and share their voices with the world. As a literary arts education organization focused on young writers ages 6 to 18, they seek to build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and provide real audiences for their students. They believe that the power of creative expression can change our communities and prepare youth for success both now and in the future.

Agent Donations

Every quarter each of our individual agents donate a percentage of their gross commissions to an organization of their choice that has a meaningful and positive impact on our shared community. Below is a complete list of our brokers chosen organizations.

Backpack Program

The BackPack Program helps students who are suffering from the effects of hunger with nutritious, easy-to-prepare food to eat during weekends and school vacations when those school meals are unavailable.

Center for Grieving Children

Provides a safe space, loving peer support, outreach, and education to children who have lost loved ones.

Community Housing Improvement Project

Provides services such as weatherproofing, replacement of windows and doors, handicap access ramps, and electrical and plumbing repairs for homeowners in central and eastern Lincoln County who are not able to do so themselves because of illness, disability, or financial need.

Good Shepherd Food Bank

The mission of Good Shepherd Food Bank is to eliminate hunger in Maine.

Habitat for Humanity 7 Rivers

Habitat for Humanity 7 Rivers, Maine, brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build, rehab, repair and weatherize homes.

Maine Initiatives

Maine Initiatives leverages dollars from the community to make grants to grassroots organizations across the state.

Maine Needs

Helping those starting life over from scratch in Maine meet their basic material needs by providing donated clothing, hygiene products, household items, and other necessities.

New Beginnings, Inc.

New Beginnings partners with youth to create lasting change so all youth have a safe place to live and opportunities to grow.

Portland Boxing Club

The Portland Boxing Club sponsors a scholarship fund for its registered athletes. The scholarships are granted not for athletic ability, but on the basis of an athlete's academic record and ability to succeed at an institution of higher learning.

Portland Parks Conservancy

Portland Parks Conservancy’s goal to support the parks, trails, and open spaces of Portland, Maine.

Portland Symphony Orchestra

The Symphony’s mission is to serve our community by enriching lives through music. Founded in 1923, the Portland Symphony Orchestra (PSO) is widely regarded as one of the top symphony orchestras of its size in the country.

Ronald McDonald House

We believe in supporting families around the world and helping them access the medical care and resources they need.

Sheepscot Valley Children’s House

We welcome children to learning – about themselves, other people, the arts, nature, the world. We emphasize respect for oneself and others and reverence for the human spirit as well as the intellect. We provide a nurturing, stimulating, and happy environment where children are guided toward the pleasure of learning, sometimes in the company of friends and teachers, sometimes quietly on their own.

Teens to Trails

Teens to Trails works with schools to build meaningful relationships between students, caring adults and the natural world while sharing fun outdoor experiences.

The Locker Project

The Locker Project connects food-insecure children in Maine with nourishing food to improve their learning capacity, health and future.
