supporting the community that supports us
The Vitalius Giving Program was created as a way to give back and reinvest in our Greater Portland community through organizations that are meaningful to our group and each agent on our team. For more information on our program or the organizations we support, please contact us.
Portland Trails is a nonprofit urban land trust that has a goal to transform Greater Portland into a healthier community for people-powered transportation, conservation and recreation by creating and maintaining a network of trails and green spaces that connect people with places.
In 2013, the Friends of Lincoln Park was formed with the mission of restoring the park to its original condition, with the participation and support of the City of Portland. Over the last five years, they have obtained funding from several organizations and foundations which allowed them to contract with professional conservators and landscape architects to develop a comprehensive Master Plan for the revitalization of the park.
Creative Portland is a nonprofit organization that leverages, grows, and sustains Portland’s creative industries, enterprises, and workforce. As the City’s official local arts agency, they also pay particular attention to supporting the artists and cultural institutions that are central to Portland’s identity, economy, and community.
The Portland Opportunity Crew program offers panhandlers the opportunity to earn money to cleanup public areas and links them with needed services, such as job training and support. Workers pick up trash and beautify the city's parks and trails, primarily on the peninsula.
