Katie began her real estate career in 2011 when she moved from Maine to Denver, CO and worked for a large multi-unit property management company coordinating leasing operations. After a fun and busy time out west, she returned to Maine and shortly thereafter obtained her real estate license. Immediately upon becoming licensed, she joined a busy and successful real estate team and spent four years as a buyer and listing specialist. She quickly became an expert in Greater Portland residential real estate and feels incredibly fortunate for the wonderful relationships she has developed with her clients throughout the years.
In addition to practicing full time real estate brokerage, she currently serves on the the board of directors for Birth Roots, a nonprofit organization in Portland that supports community supported parenting, and the Friends School of Portland, an independent day school. Throughout the years, Katie has found great joy in working with organizations that support children, families, and the out of doors, including mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters and participating in the Walking School Bus for the East End School.
Katie grew up in various parts of NY and OH and received her BA from the University of Dayton. Following graduation, she completed a year of service through the AmeriCorps VISTA program and then promptly moved to Maine. She lives in Deering Center in Portland with her husband, Ben and their wonderful cat, Charlie. Katie is grateful every day to live and work in Maine.
