The Time & Temperature, a landmark Portland building finally sold at auction last week after years of limbo-status in receivership. At the time of the sale, occupancy in the building was less than 40%. The successful bidder has yet to be identified publicly, but participation in the bidding process was considered a wild success, with a mix of local and out-of-state interests. Of that buyer pool, almost every conceivable proposed use was represented, from minimal renovation for continued office use, to wholesale mixed-use redevelopment using Historic Tax Credits.
