Nova brings a wealth of real estate and professional business experience to buyers and sellers. She is an active landlord and Airbnb expert, owning and operating a handful of long-term and short-term rentals in Portland, as well as a lakeside ski house rental near Sunday River. As an avid renovator, there’s scarcely a home renovation project she hasn’t overseen and brought to fruition. Nova combines her multifaceted knowledge of the local real estate market with her 10 years experience in sales and transaction coordination to navigate her clients through their purchases and sales with confidence. Whether it’s an investment, a dream home, or a fixer-upper in need of a little vision (or all three in one!), Nova is passionate about helping sellers maximize on their home’s potential, and responsibly guiding buyers to achieve their purchasing goals. She holds her Associate Broker license and specializes in Portland and surrounding towns.
Nova is a New York City transplant who fell in love with Portland in 2009 and never looked back. She is very active in the Portland community, taking full advantage of the restaurant and brewery scene. She’s almost always taking a class in some activity, from art classes at MECA, to barre at Salud, to outdoor classes at a 4H camp somewhere “up Maine,” or her monthly book club at Print. Nova serves on the Advisory Council for the Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s Next Wave Group. She is also a weekly volunteer facilitator for a bereavement group for kids aged 3-6 years old at the Center for Grieving Children. Nova’s alma maters include the Hotchkiss School and the University of Pennsylvania, but she likes to think her greatest education came from sailing across the Pacific and Atlantic oceans twice each. She currently lives in Portland with her husband, daughter, and their goofy doodle Baloo.

From John F., Portland
"Nova, thank you for all your help in my becoming a homeowner! You gave me a tremendous sense of confidence in the process, and I really felt like you were in my corner the whole time. I’m not sure I could’ve done it without you."
