And now, we are pleased to offer “Snaps on the Haps,”  as a feature on our website. From neighborhood harvest festivals to networking opportunities–there’s always something for everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying this early spring! Enjoy this lively edition of the Snaps;

 

Mar. 4, 5pm: First Friday Art Walk

Mar. 4-6, 2:00 or 4:00 pm: Film showing of Mustang at the Portland Museum of Art.  7 Congress Square.

 

Mar. 5, 10 am – 8 pm: Come watch your favorite breweries battle for the Maine Brewers’ Cup  with DJs, food trucks, and fire pits at Thompson’s Point, 10 Thompson’s Point.

8 am – 4 pm: Indoor yard sale at the Italian Heritage Center. 40 Westland Ave.

8:30 am: Get your teams together for the 3rd Conway Classic at Deering High School. Come out and have some fun while supporting a great cause*. Sign up soon-space is limited! Deering High School, 370 Stevens Ave.

Mar. 6, 1 pm: Be part of choosing the next democratic president of the United States! Come caucus with fellow

democrats in Portland at Deering High School at the Portland Democratic Caucus!

 

Mar. 8, 5:30 pm: Portland’s business leaders square off in a Corporate Spelling Bee at the Portland House of Music to benefit a local charity, 25 Temple Street.

 

Mar. 9, 5:30  – 7:30 pm: Kindling Fund Party at Space Gallery, 538 Congress Street.

 

​Mar. 10, 4-9  pm:​ An evening filled with friends, fun, fabulous food, fresh flowers, delicious cocktails, and spectacular shopping at EsCAPE Savor-Indulge-Energize, 40 Bowery Beach, Cape Elizabeth.

 

Mar. 12, 12:30 – 2 pm: Come check out what Rwanda Bean Company is all about at their Company Launch, at The King’s Head, 254 Commercial St. #J.

12 – 8 pm: Stop by Oxbow to and celebrate Saison Day! They’ll have a variety of Allagash, Oxbow, and other Saisons on tap. 49 Washington Ave.

8 – 11 pm: And, if you feel like dancing, there is the RRMF Fundraiser: Awesome 80s Dance Party! 148 North Road, Yarmouth

 

Mar. 13,  A panel of distinguished  women filmmakers will be discussing their successes in the documentary film industry at the Women Filmmakers Forum. Welcomed by the Maine Jewish Film Festival and hosted by the Portland Museum of Art. Brunch will be served. 7 Congress Square.

 

Mar. 15, 47 Middle St Ladies’ Whiskey and Chocolate Tasting at the East Ender. 47 Middle Street.

 

Mar. 16, 5-7 pm: Women Standing Together Mixer at the Cumberland Club. Share ideas with a dynamic group of women. This group supports local women entrepreneurs. All welcome. RSVP info@womenstandingtogether.org 116 High St.

 

Mar. 17,  St. Patrick’s Day! Catch the Napper Tandies at Bull Feeneys! 375 Fore Street.

Or… 5 – 7 pm:  On the Road with Maine Biz at Portland Ocean Gateway, 14 Maine State Pier.

 

Mar. 18, Pack lunches for those in need at Deering High school, hosted my Million Meals Maine. 370 Stevens Ave Later that night, head over to Portland House of Music to catch the Stache Pag 2016. 25 Temple Street

Also, A Live Tribute to Patty Griffin & John Prine to benefit One Longfellow Square.

 

Mar. 19, 9 am: Birth Roots “Baby Booty” Seasonal Resale Fundraiser at 101 State Street.

Later on… 1-5 pm Bearded Brewfest 2016  Sullivan Complex, University of Southern Maine. 66 Falmouth St.

 

​Mar. 25,​ 7:30 am – 9 am: Springboard: SailMaine at The VIA Agency, 619 Congress St.

In the evening at 7:30 pm, Portland Players Theater, will be performing the play The Crucible, 420 Cottage Road, South Portland.

Mar. 26, 7 am – 4 pm: Maine Maple Sunday/Maple Weekend at the West Minot Sugarhouse, Rt 119 Minot, Maine.
